Welcome to the College Library

The College curriculum is supported by the resources of two splendid libraries, the John Morris Library in the Senior School and the Gwendoline Madder Library in the Junior School.  Both libraries are headed by fully qualified and highly experienced teacher-librarians.

These libraries enable students to undertake independent research and progressively allow them to take increased responsibility for their own learning.  Supervised classes using the libraries for reading sessions or research and study continue through the Junior and Middle Schools, and include specific instruction in library-use skills.  Special subject-specific research lessons are offered in Grades 11 and 12.

The collections on both campuses are carefully selected to support all areas of the curriculum and include an increasing range of computerised sources of information ranging from CD-ROMs to Internet access.
