Hockey

Hockey at Scotch Oakburn College is a Winter Sport for boys and girls from grades 7 -12.  The success of our students in Hockey has been exceptional during the few past years.  Scotch Oakburn College is the dominant school in Hockey in the Northern part of Tasmania, with domination in both the Northern Hockey Association Rosters and the NSATIS Roster.  Scotch Oakburn College has a Hockey Development Coach, Mr Jeremy Stebbings who has improved the skill level of our junior players and is gaining positive results with our senior teams.

The 2004 season is promising with both our girls and boys senior teams developing greater depth and skill.  All teams train on Wednesday s at the St Leonard Hockey Centre from 4pm – 6pm with our senior teams completing a fitness program on Tuesday evenings.  The senior teams play Monday evenings, the U/16 teams play Friday evenings and the junior teams play on Saturday mornings.
