Scholarships

There can be no greater gift given to our youth than quality education. This gift will prepare the young for the challenges of their futures. A scholarship to Scotch Oakburn College can provide the means for families to provide quality education for their children.

The College has a variety of Scholarships. In most cases these awards are tenable for the duration of a student´s education at Scotch Oakburn, provided that progress and behaviour are satisfactory and there is a full and willing participation in the life of the school.

In some instances an award of shorter duration is offered at the Principal´s discretion. An annual review of a student´s performance is conducted. The understanding is that the student will remain at Scotch Oakburn until the end of Year 12, or for at least the duration of the scholarship award.

Academic Scholarships - now closed for students entering the College in 2014

Scotch Oakburn offers variety of scholarships that provide generous discounts off tuition and/or boarding fees. Academic Scholarships are available at each entry level from Year 4 to Year 12. These scholarships are open to students from any school and current Scotch Oakburn students are welcome to apply. This year, students were required to sit a scholarship examination on Saturday 23 March 2013.

Parents should contact the Registrar for information about Academic Scholarships for students entering the College in 2015.
