I encourage parent
participation at rowing club meetings, regattas and fundraising events. For
those parents who want more involvement in the sport, why not consider becoming
a coach or a coaches aide?
Rowing is
a challenging
and exciting experience for students, which generates a special brand of team spirit
that often leads to lifelong friendships and continuance of the sport after
school.
I look forward to
an enjoyable and successful 2007-2008 rowing season.
