The Year 12 2018 cohort have led the College wonderfully. Their willingness to bear the torch of school spirit, engaging in the full spectrum of College life, not to mention their enthusiasm to engage in projects beyond out gates, epitomises the character of the cohort.

In this way, they have inspired and involved their peers across the College to bring their best to whatever pursuit they are involved in. As a result, we have witnessed the spirit of friendly rivalry in House competitions, great sportsmanship and camaraderie on the sporting field, excellence on the stage in the full array of the performing arts and stellar academic performances.

The best indicator of the academic environment that our senior students and staff create is the median ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank). The class of 2018 achieved a median ATAR of 87.0, indicating that 50% of our Year 12 students were placed in the top 13% nationally. This is an outstanding effort and speaks to the determination of the year group to strive to achieve their potential.

Scotch Oakburn College congratulates our Year 12 students of 2018, who have excelled in many areas of endeavour, in and beyond the classroom.
