A body was found lying in a pool of blood in the Helix undercroft. Was it a tragic accident, or was something more sinister afoot?

The Year 8 Forensics class was called to the scene, and after donning their protective gear, commenced their investigation. Three different sets of bloody footprints were found, indicating that other people had been at the scene. Fingerprints were found on a metal pipe covered in blood. A tuft of hair was found clenched between the victim’s fingers, and a bag of white powder was found in his pocket.

What did it all mean? Who was involved? Would it be possible to piece together the evidence to track down a suspect, or would a cold-blooded killer escape justice? Time will tell, as the Forensics teams have plenty of testing, investigating, interviewing and sleuthing to do before they get to the bottom of it all.
