Touch football is a field sport based on rugby league, without the need to tackle. It’s easy to learn, needs limited equipment and is generally a limited-contact sport… it’s also heaps of fun!
The Launceston Touch Association’s season runs from October to March every year, with this year’s season quickly approaching. We are hoping in the coming years to field some college teams but in the interim, if anyone was interested in playing there are opportunities to get some exposure to the sport and join a club.
Paul McKendrick, Head of Health and Physical Education and myself, Kate Stokes, Graphic Designer at the College are involved with the sport and can help you to be too.
