Community Survey – Thank you
The development of our next 15-year Strategic Vision is a very exciting project. The recently advertised community survey is a key part of the planning of that Vision, giving our community a voice in what they value about Scotch Oakburn’s education. The response was overwhelming and I take this opportunity to say, “Thank you”, to everyone who took the time to respond; it is a reflection of the wonderful community spirit that we all enjoy.
At a high level, we had 823 individual responses, comprised of 322 Parents, 135 Collegians, 81 Staff, 239 Students, 36 Past Parents, 8 ‘Others’ and 2 people who didn’t identify with any grouping. 261 respondents indicated that they would be willing to take part in the Community Forums and 317 respondents provided additional feedback.
The College’s Executive is now analysing the feedback to identify the themes that have come through both the ratings of elements of the Scotch Oakburn education, as well as the written feedback. Once that is completed we will be communicating again, offering those people who have volunteered to be part of Community Forum groups to nominate which forum session they are available to attend. These will be held in early Term 4.
Once again, thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey.
