Congratulations to Hayley Sharp (Year 9) who was selected as a finalist in this year’s SNAP Photographic competition.
SNAP is a photographic ‘scavenger hunt’ that challenges students to create visual responses to 20 stimulus words. Hayley worked independently to generate a set of very creative images. Her unique submission to the competition featured a paper dinosaur as the central character in each of her photographs, and this resulted in conceptually sophisticated representations of the scavenger hunt categories.
Hayley’s work is featured in an exhibition at the Launceston Church Grammar Poimena Gallery, alongside other finalists from schools across Tasmania, and can be viewed online here: https://snap.lcgs.tas.edu.au/entries/artist/hayley-sharp.
