You wouldn’t normally expect to be too active in maths but this week Year 6 enjoyed some active learning with a maths relay.

Teams were given questions one at a time and could choose to pass or solve, then run answers to the marker. It required quick thinking, cooperation and teamwork to find solutions (without a calculator!). With problems worth varying points, the team with the most points at the end was announced the winner. Well done to today’s winning team from Year 6 Robinson – Georgina Wilson, Ruby Hirst, Eden Laws, Liam Lloyd and Campbell Skirving.
