CHESS SUCCESS

Addison Djatschenko (Year 12) and Himash Keerthiratne (Year 8) competed in the State Individual Chess Championships on 15 and 16 October. Addison won the Under 18 State Title and Himash the Under 14 State Title. Both boys were undefeated and are to be commended on this exceptional achievement. Himash has been selected to represent Tasmania in the Australian Junior Chess Championships to be held in Melbourne in January.
