This week, I had the pleasure of guiding the Year 6s through a spiritual exercise that helped them connect with how they are growing their outdoor education program and how they can continue that growth when they come back into their normal daily routine.

Both the Valley Campus and Bicheno provided some very special environment choices that assisted the students in being able to identify who they are becoming and what they like about themselves as they continue to enjoy life satisfaction.

With Head of the River only one day away, another joy as Chaplain was the honour of blessing two new rowing boats for the College last night, The Spirit of Oakburn for the girls and The Spirit of Scotch for the boys.   This was followed by the blessing of both the female and male Eight Crews for their Head of the River tomorrow.   May they always know the Creator is with them as they head off to their endeavours in sport tomorrow.

This week at Elphin, Connect is looking at Joy with our Years 3-5 students – what brings us joy and how can we connect with our joy more hours of our weeks, days and moments to give our students a multiplication of their own life satisfaction as we turn towards our Easter journey.

Have a wonderful joyful week everyone.
