FROM THE CHAPLAIN

This Term we have seen the commencement of our CafeConnect Hospitality Program for our Middle School students.

Every Friday, the designated year level can arrive at Cafe8 between 8.00am and 8.30am and have hot chocolate whilst they talk and mix with their year level peers.  We have seen friendships strengthen, a sense of stronger belonging, stronger resilience and a general sense of gratefulness and wellbeing as they head off to class after.

We are also in the process of making a dedicated prayer space for our Islamic students as well as looking forward to and preparing for the return of our weekly Chapels in two weeks time after the completion of the annual Inter-House Singing Carnival.

On the last Wednesday of Term, we will be celebrating the Blessing of the Animals again so if anyone has some ideas about how we might do this creatively whilst having some fun, I would love to hear from you at grace.reynolds@soc.tas.edu.au.
