FROM THE CHAPLAIN
This week saw the last of the Term Chapels for our TCE Students. There was a tear in my eye as I looked down on the fresh faces of our Year 12 students knowing there is only one formal chapel left for each of them.
I pray that their spiritual development in connecting with themselves and others will hold them in good stead for their future.
This week in the Junior School, we are completing our Aboriginal Spirituality Art Project which the students have now voted on with some exciting news. It will be hung on the mezzanine wall in the chapel so that all the students, parents and visitors can see the beautiful artwork our 2022 Prep and Year 1 students have created in conjunction with Aunty Judith-Rose’s fine wisdom and artistry as a First Nation’s Contributor to our chapel. We will let you all know of the date of its donation and hanging.
This coming week, I am travelling to Victoria to strengthen my knowledge and practises in developing our student’s spiritual capacity to hear and follow the spiritual path of their choice.
Whilst away, our wonderful Student Executive Committee will be looking after our all Penquite Blessing of the Animals Service on Wednesday. May I suggest if you have not done so already, that you lodge a photo of your pet on the link on the student Dash home page so that your pets can be blessed in our annual Service.
Have a great week of joy everyone,
Rev Grace
