Learning Celebrations
Thank you to all families who were able to attend end of year celebration events with their children on the Elphin Campus this week. It has been a very exciting week for students as the end of the school year draws near. The support of parents and families right across the Junior School throughout 2022 has been greatly appreciated by all Staff as we work together to achieve the best for each and every student. Thank you!
To students and families leaving the College this year, we wish you every success in your new schools. To everybody continuing at Scotch Oakburn in 2023, we look forward to seeing you at the beginning of Term 1.

The Season for Giving
Thank you to all members of the Junior School community who so generously supported the College’s Salvation Army Red Bag appeal for local families this Christmas. Thank you also to our Year 5 students who donated to the ABC Giving Tree appeal this week. Lucie Ackers and Chloe Hassell from Year 5 delivered this donation to the ABC on behalf of all Year 5’s.
End of Term
The School year finishes for all Junior School classes at 3:00 pm on Wednesday 14 December. After School Care finishes at 6:00 pm the same day. The December Vacation Care program commences on Thursday 15 December and runs until Thursday 22 December – weekdays, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The Junior School Office closes for the summer break at 4:00 pm on Thursday 22 December. The January Vacation Care program commences on Tuesday 3 January and details of this are available online or via the Junior School Office or from the Outside School Hours Care room.
The Junior School office reopens on Friday 27 January, the Early Learning Orientation morning is on Tuesday 31 January. Term 1 2023 commences for all classes on Wednesday 1 February. The main Penquite Campus office reopens on Tuesday 3 January and the Junior School can be contacted via this office if needed through the holiday period.
