Year 5 End of Year

The end of Year 5 is a special milestone for all Year 5 students as they transition from Junior School to Middle School and from the Elphin Campus to the Penquite Campus. Through the second half of this year, and particularly through Term 4, the Year 5 students have been engaged in transition experiences in readiness for this.

To mark the milestone, all Year 5 students are invited to sign the Valedictory Register at the Junior School Reception over these last two weeks of the Term. Parents are able to call into reception with their child at any convenient time through the school week to share this symbolic tradition together.

On Friday 10 December, at 1:30pm, the Year 5 Final Assembly will be held in the HPEC@Elphin. All families of Year 5 students have received details of this formal celebration.

On the last day of the Term (Wednesday 15 December) the whole Junior School will farewell the Year 5’s in a less formal gathering in the HPEC@Elphin from 2:40 – 3:00pm. Year 5 parents are welcome on campus to catch the moment and photo opportunity as the students leave through the ‘celebration avenue’.
