Swimming Carnival
Congratulations to every swimmer from Years 3, 4 and 5 on their commitment to achieving personal bests and contributing to their house team at this week’s Swimming Carnival. Walk to School
The Term 1 Walk to School Day is on Friday 4 March. This event is to increase awareness of healthy lifestyles as part of our commitment to the Move Well Eat Well program for Tasmanian schools.
All Junior School students are invited to join the staff group walking from Penquite Campus at 7.30am or join the group at David Street or at Richards Avenue. Parents are most welcome to walk with the group and arrival at the Elphin Campus is at approximately 8.20am.
For those already trying the daily ‘Park and Walk’ option for morning school drop-offs, this day is an opportunity for a longer walk which is fully supervised.
Junior School Reception can provide further details prior to the day if needed.
The Dash
Each year level from Early Learning to Year 5 has a Year Level Dash page and within this there are separate Class Dash pages for every class. For each student there is then a personal ePortfolio on The Dash.
All families are reminded that these pages are regularly updated and contain a lot of information related to learning programs and events as well as student engagement and progress in the ePortfolio.
Also on The Dash is a conneXions page which holds a range of learning-related resources for parents.
