FROM THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Valley Life for Year 7
The Year 7 students experienced Valley Life with the five day program connecting students to our Learner Attributes, especially Effective Communication and Inclusivity. The students developed greater understanding of resilience through persisting with the program during long rain periods and adjusting to adapted program experiences. The raft building challenges, the bush hut making and bush explorations where all highlights of developing greater team work skills and tolerance for others. Thank you to the Education Outdoors staff, casual instructors and Year 7 teaches for supporting the students.
Year 8 Textile Toys Taking Shape
This week the Year 8 Textiles students visited Early Learning Kidd, for inspiration and design tips for their textiles projects. The ideas are amazing, now for the students to make them come to life! Enjoy these images of how our students (old and young) connect to learning.

We wish all students the very best for the upcoming NSATIS (Years 7-12) and NIJSSA (Years 3-6) Swimming Carnivals. The focus on being at your best and displaying teamwork skills will be front of mind for all members of our teams. Thank you to our coaches and Mr Ali Foot for the coordination of these teams.
Da Vinci Problem Solving Club
In the approaching week, Middle School students will receive information about a scientific problem solving program being coordinated by Mrs Gina Slevec. The focus is upon analytical thinking and problem solving, related to real world, scientific problems. We look forward to creative minds working together.
