As you pass by the Penquite Campus you may notice some changes occurring to the fencing/hedge area in front of the Ravenscraig building.

The hedge has been damaged over time and is suffering from disease which has made it uneven and unsightly.  It has therefore been necessary to make the decision to have it removed and replace with fencing in keeping with all campuses.

However, in line with our long-term planning for the Penquite Campus Nothern Precinct development, this will allow us to showcase the heritage of the College through the wonderful facade of the Ravenscraig building, long hidden from sight. This is the oldest remaining building on the Penquite Campus, opened in 1930.

The new brick and rail fence will be constructed over the next few weeks.  Floodlighting will then be installed to showcase the Ravenscraig facade.
