Methodist Ladies’ College Class of 1959 – it’s time to celebrate your 60-year reunion!
Some of your classmates have been busy getting together a weekend of activities which are detailed below:
11.10.2019 PLEASE NOTE: THE MUD DINNER HAS BEEN AMENDED TO 3PM AT THE LAUNCESTON CLUB AND THE BUS WILL NOW BE CAR POOLING. MARY, ELIZABETH OR ANNE WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH YOU TO ASSIST WITH THE CHANGES AND CAR POOLING
Friday 8 November 2019
12.00noon Lunch in the Kate Perrin Dining Room followed by an Elphin Campus tour (no charge for this event – hosted by Scotch Oakburn College)
3.00pm High tea and drinks at The Launceston Club (pay at the venue), partners are welcome at this event
Saturday 9 November 2019
10.00am If you were planning on getting the bus meet at St Georges Square, East Launceston for the car pooling (as above)
12.30pm Lunch at Riviera Hotel, Beauty Point (pay at the lunch)
A drive down memory lane … the first stop will be Gravelly Beach which has changed very little in the last 50 years! You’ll have time to stop for a coffee and then inspect the Guide Hut at Deviot which most of you would have stayed in! On to Ilfraville (formerly Sandy Beach) to enjoy lunch at the Riviera Hotel. You’ll then return back to Launceston via Low Head.
