DESCRIPTION:We invite you to come along to this year’s Senior School Production Away.  \nA magical play … set in the summer of 1967-68. It’s been named one of Australia’s Classic plays\, depicting life in Australia post World War 2 and in the midst of the Vietnam War. \nIt’s a tragically beautiful play with resonance on so many levels. Includes styles of realism\, comedy\, fantasy\, Shakespearean and a play-within-a-play. \nFun\, crazy and comedic but behind the veneer of holiday fanfare\, Gold Coast glitz\, and high school theatrics are three families that are scared\, angered\, and fracturing. \nPlease note: the topics and themes in this performance make it unsuitable for young children.
