DESCRIPTION:We invite you to the exhibition opening of ‘Botanical Flight – Tasmanian Birds’ by Illustrator and Collegian Christina Graham (’09). \nWednesday 10 September @ 5:30 pm in the s.p.a.c.e. Gallery\,\nPerforming Arts Centre\nScotch Oakburn College\n85 Penquite Road \nAbout the artwork:  \n‘Botanical Flight – Tasmanian Birds’ is a series that represents some of the most colourful and often seen Tasmanian native species. Few can be spotted in a backyard garden\, many on a walk and others only in their own unique habitats.  \nAbout the artist:  \nChristina Graham is a lutruwita/Tasmanian artist and illustrator. Strongly drawn to the documentation of natural occurrences and drawn to an exploration of the space between people\, nature and bodies of land. Inspired by her island home\, its unique environment and wild places\, Christina intricately paints the flora and fauna this inspires. Christina is a traditional artist\, working with watercolour\, gouache and ink. She is a Collegian of Scotch Oakburn College.

DESCRIPTION:Year 12 Leavers’ Assembly at the Elphin Campus  \nThis invitation is extended to all Year 12 students who attended the Elphin Campus and their parents/carers. It will be held at the HPEC@Elphin from 8:20 am and conclude at approximately 9:30 am.  \nWe will also have Coffee@Laneway open from 8:00 am so please join us earlier if you can.  \nYear 12 Valedictory Assembly at the Penquite Campus  \nThe College will be farewelling our Year 12 students at a special Valedictory Assembly which will commence at 10:15 am for 10:30 am in the Health & Physical Education Centre (HPEC) at the Penquite Campus. This invitation is extended to all Year 12 parents/carers.  \nValedictory lunch following the Valedictory Assembly  \nThe assembly will be followed by a Valedictory lunch for all Year 12 students and parents/carers to be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor\, Cameron Street Launceston. The lunch will begin at 12:30 pm for a 1:00 pm start and conclude at 3.00 pm.  \nParents/Carers please RSVP HERE for lunch via this link by Monday 20 October.
