Australian Interschools Championship at Werribee Equestrian centre

Six Scotch Oakburn College equestrian team members attended the Australian Interschools Championship at Werribee Equestrian Centre over the Term break.

Meg Kilby (Year 9) was unfortunately unmounted with an injury the week prior. She was a tremendous help and support to everyone.

Ella Nast (Year 11), Sophie Ranson (Year 11), Ashlea Rees (Year 10), Lucy Johnston (Year 9) and Abbi Lloyd-Bostock (Year 9) all rode beautifully kicking some major goals and achieving some personal best performances.

Lucy and Ella joined together as a pair riding together in the Pas de Deux (freestyle pairs to music as Barbie &Ken) on the Saturday night placing sixth for team Tasmania.

The girls all did a wonderful job and were a terrific support to each other and achieved some great results.

Ella Nast & Lucy Johnston sixth overall in the Pas de Deux.
Ashlea Rees seventh overall in the 95cm combined training.
Lucy Johnston second in the intermediate 90cm 2 phase showjumping riding Cotswold Belladonna.
Lucy Johnston 5th in the intermediate 90cm Show jumping Championship riding Cotswold Belladonna, fifth overall 90cm intermediate Show jumping riding Cotswold Belladonna, and first in the Elementary 3.2 dressage test riding Clearview Royal Zeva.
