TASMANIAN JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION RESULTS
Scotch Oakburn College students triumphed in the recent Tasmanian Japanese Calligraphy Competition!
A huge thank you must go to our Japanese assistant, Miwa san, who patiently guided and encouraged students with their final entries for this competition. Her expertise with calligraphy techniques has been invaluable this year! These were the results:
Senior Brush Division:
1st prize – Kate Atherton (Year 11)
2nd prize – Eliza Chapman (Year 10)
Senior Pen Division:
1st prize – Ella Fischer (Year 10)
2nd prize – Kate Atherton (Year 11)
Junior Brush Division:
2nd prize – Lily Murdoch (Year 7)
