TASMANIAN JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION
Students studying Japanese had the opportunity to pen or ink entries for the statewide calligraphy competition. Initially, only two entries per category were allowable from each school.
There were over 100 entries from across the State and Scotch Oakburn College was able to secure prizes in one of the sections. The competition was tough!
Ella Fischer (Year 11) and Charlotte Oates Pryor (Year 11) successfully took out first and second prizes respectively in the senior pen division.
Participation certificates were awarded to:
Payton Brown (Year 9)
Matias Munos Lagos (Year 9)
Abby Saunders (Year 9)
James Walker (Year 9)
Aayush KC (Year 6)
Max Woolcott (Year 6)
Grace Harris (Year 6)

Thank you to all students who did their best to try to be selected.
