DIRECTOR OF EARLY LEARNING
This full-time role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the highest quality educational experiences for our young learners.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the development and implementation of a dynamic early learning curriculum that aligns with the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework
- Oversee the daily operations of the Early Learning Centre, including staffing, resource management, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
- Foster strong relationships with families, actively engaging them in their children’s learning and development
- Work collaboratively with the school leadership team to integrate the Early Learning program within the wider school community
- Drive continuous improvement through the monitoring and evaluation of the Early Learning program
- Represent the Early Learning Centre and advocate for high-quality Early Childhood Education
What we’re looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the early learning sector
- Proven track record of developing and implementing engaging, play-based learning programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
- Thorough understanding of the National Quality Standard, Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant Early Childhood Education regulations
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for delivering exceptional early learning experiences
