About the role
We are seeking talented and experienced Music Tutors in Woodwind, Strings and Vocal to join our dynamic team on a casual basis.  Hours of work will vary according to student need, but anticipated to be approximately 6-8 hours per academic week.  As a Music Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality one-on-one and small group music lessons to our students, helping to develop their musical skills and foster their passion for music.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and tailored music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their technical and musical abilities
  • Collaborating with the Performing Arts Department to ensure your tutoring aligns with the school’s curriculum and educational objectives
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Participating in school performances and events as required

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching vocal, woodwind or string instruments, with a strong background in performance and music education
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages
  • A passion for music education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility to work on a casual basis, with availability during school hours
