MUSIC TUTORS (Casual)
About the role
We are seeking talented and experienced Music Tutors in Woodwind, Strings and Vocal to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. Hours of work will vary according to student need, but anticipated to be approximately 6-8 hours per academic week. As a Music Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality one-on-one and small group music lessons to our students, helping to develop their musical skills and foster their passion for music.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering engaging and tailored music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
- Assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their technical and musical abilities
- Collaborating with the Performing Arts Department to ensure your tutoring aligns with the school’s curriculum and educational objectives
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in school performances and events as required
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching vocal, woodwind or string instruments, with a strong background in performance and music education
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages
- A passion for music education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar role
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis, with availability during school hours
