OSHC ASSISTANT

We are seeking an enthusiastic and Diploma qualified, Outside School Hours Care Assistant to join our vibrant team in Launceston, TAS. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing and development of children in our care.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the supervision and engagement of children in before and after-school care programs
• Plan and facilitate a range of age-appropriate activities, games, and recreational experiences
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
• Maintain accurate records and adherence to regulatory requirements
• Support the overall operations of the Outside School Hours Care program

What we’re looking for

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education, or equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience working with children in a care or educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Passion for supporting the development and well-being of children
• Current Working with Children/WWCC clearance
