Round Square Committee

Round Square Committee at Scotch Oakburn College is a student-led leadership group that drives the College’s engagement with the Round Square IDEALS: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service. The committee plans and facilitates weekly sessions, guest speakers, cultural exchanges, and major events such as the Peace Festival and Baraza discussions. Members collaborate across year levels and with staff to promote global citizenship, student voice, and meaningful action within the College and beyond. Participation fosters leadership, empathy, and a deep understanding of social and environmental issues through experiential learning and advocacy.
