TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS AND/OR SCIENCE

Teacher of Mathematics and/or Science
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Mathematics and/or Science to join our dynamic Senior School team. This role is permanent full-time, is located in Launceston, Tasmania and will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality educational outcomes for our students.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics and/or Science
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to support their learning and development
• Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, assessment and reporting
• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
• Participate actively in professional development and collaborative teaching practices
• Undertake pastoral care responsibilities and support the broader life of the College

What We’re Looking For:

• Tertiary qualifications in Education with a specialisation in Chemistry or Physics and Years 9-12 Mathematics
• Registered or eligible for registration as a teacher in Tasmania
• Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science at the secondary level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
• A commitment to ongoing professional learning and the ability to work collaboratively
• A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people
