- I/We agree that if our child is enrolled at Scotch Oakburn College, we will be jointly and severally liable for the payment of all tuition fees and course levies, and other charges and levies, imposed by the College (collectively, School Fees) during our child’s enrolment, and to pay all School Fees by the due dates, and in accordance with the payment terms, set out in the College’s fee schedules.

If only one parent is agreeing to be liable for the payment of School Fees or if a different arrangement to joint and several liability is required, a Change of Financial Responsibility Form must also be completed.

PRIVACY NOTICE AND PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT
PRIVACY NOTICE
1. The College collects personal information, including sensitive information, about prospective and current students and their parents / guardians before and during the course of a student’s enrolment at the College. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable the College to determine which prospective students may be offered a place at the College, and to provide schooling and associated services to students who are subsequently enrolled at the College.
2. Some of the information the College collects is to also satisfy the College's legal obligations, for example to enable the College to discharge its duty of care to staff and students.
3. Certain laws governing or relating to the operation of schools require that certain information is collected. These include public health and child protection laws, such as the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1997 (Tas).
4. Health information about students is classed as sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1986 (Cth). The College asks parents to provide relevant health information about their child from time to time.
5. The College from time to time discloses personal and sensitive information to others for administrative, educational and legal compliance purposes. This includes to other schools, government departments, medical practitioners and people providing services to the College, including visiting specialist teachers and sports coaches.
6. If the College does not obtain all of the information sought in this Application for Admission, the College may not offer a placement to your child.
7. Personal information collected from students is regularly disclosed to their parents / guardians. On occasion, information such as academic and sporting achievements, student activities and other news is published in College publications such as newsletters, magazines and on our website. Information may be disclosed to third party service providers used by the College that are located overseas, e.g. website host servers.
8. Parents may seek access to personal information collected about them and their child by contacting the College. Students may also seek access to personal information about them. However, there will be occasions when access is denied. Such occasions would include when access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others, where access may result in a breach of the College's duty of care to the student, or where students have provided information in confidence.
9. The College, from time to time, engages in fundraising activities. Information received from you may be used to make an appeal to parents. Information may also be disclosed to organisations that assist in the College's fundraising activities solely for that purpose. The College will not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without parental consent.
10. If parents provide the College with the personal information of others, such as doctors or emergency contacts, the College encourage parents to inform those people that they are disclosing that information to the College.

For Early Learning enrolments, this deposit will secure your place in Prep. The deposit will be fully rebated against your child's account at the commencement of Prep. This deposit is non-refundable if your child does not commence in Prep at the College.
For Prep enrolments, this deposit will be rebated against your first Prep instalment.
