ON ROUND SQUARE EXCHANGE IN COLOMBIA

2025-04-11T11:59:35+10:0011 April, 2025|Categories: Term 1 Week 10|

My time in Colombia so far has been such an amazing experience, from walking up Monserrate to spending time at the local country club with my exchange’s friends. I am currently on holidays over here and my host family has taken me to so many new places and are taking me to Anapoima later this week. Colegio Anglo is not too different from Scotch Oakburn College except for the 7am start and 2pm finish. The school also has a cafeteria in which lunch is provided. During my first week I have enjoyed […]

It is an opportunity for our students to share their learning and the Penquite Campus with those who may not normally get to see it. The event starts with an assembly and followed by a student led tour of the campus, allowing guests to see classroom spaces and experience the learning of our students.

National Rowing Championships

Scotch Oakburn College had an outstanding week at the Australian Rowing Championships on its home course at Lake Barrington.

The squad started the week strongly with May Wain (Year 12) making the final of the U19 Single Scull, and the Year 11 team of Maddison Marshall and Cheali Barron making the final of the U19 Pair. INSPIRING CLASSROOMS IN ACTION

2025-04-28T12:05:58+10:0028 March, 2025|Categories: Term 1 Week 8|

One of the greatest joys in my role is visiting classrooms and witnessing the dynamic and engaging learning environments our teachers cultivate. Over the past fortnight, I had the privilege of visiting classrooms across both the Elphin and Penquite Campuses, seeing firsthand the incredible work being done by both students and staff. One particularly unique and inspiring experience was observing our Artist in Residence, Katie Barron, work closely with our TCE Art staff and students, an experience fostered by TCE teacher Carmel Dilger.

Katie brought a fresh and exciting perspective to these classes, […]
