This year, ANZAC Day fell during our Term break, and we were very pleased to have more than 50 students and families walk on behalf of the College from Princes Park to the Cenotaph.
In our first week back, ANZAC Day assemblies were held at both our Penquite and Elphin campuses, providing time for reflection and remembrance. At Elphin, the service was hosted by our Year 5 Inquiry Captains, Madeleine Hooper, Naaz Kaur, Evan Paul, and James Rigney, who shared their thoughts about ANZAC Day. These important gatherings help ensure our students continue to understand the significance of ANZAC Day, while keeping stories of service, courage and sacrifice alive for future generations.
Lest we forget.
