ROWING

The historic Launceston and Henley Regatta was a fabulous opportunity for SOC Rowing to showcase their sense of community.  We launched from both the College Boat House and Royal Park, which proved to be efficient yet logistical at the same time.  We are indebted to our rowers and their parents for making it all happen smoothly.  Parents drove speed boats for the two days to assist Regatta officials and a team of parents braved the Tamar to knee height catching boats for Junior rowers as they came into and launched from the cement ramp at Royal Park.  Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed during the regatta. Special thanks to Tennison Stopford (Year 9)who supported the Royal Park end extensively throughout the two days.
