Open House Launceston is an annual event.   There was a great response to last year’s very first Open House Launceston and this year there will be over 30 buildings for people to explore. A chance to see Launceston from a unique perspective!

Interested in Touch Football?

Touch football is a field sport based on rugby league, without the need to tackle. It’s easy to learn, needs limited equipment and is generally a limited-contact sport… it’s also heaps of fun!

The Launceston Touch Association’s season runs from October to March every year, with this year’s season quickly approaching. We are hoping in the coming years to field some college teams but in the interim, if anyone was interested in playing there are opportunities to get some exposure to the sport and join a club.

City Mission Bookfest

City Mission is excited to announce that they are holding their annual Bookfest again, 5-6 July at the Launceston Conference Centre (Door of Hope) from 9.00am-4.00pm. On sale will be thousands of pre-loved books, games, puzzles, records, DVD’s, collectables and art supplies. All proceeds from the event will go to helping Emergency Relief this winter.
