CLEMENTINE & VICTORIA GIVE BACK

The Launceston Tournament – Junior Football (Soccer) weekend carnival was recently held at Faulkner Park. Teams from across Tasmania competed, with boys, girls and mixed open teams in age groups from U9 to U16 taking to the field. Students Clementine Gee (Year 8) and Victoria Allen (Year 8) volunteered at the canteen during the tournament. Alongside a small group of volunteers, they helped raise an impressive $2,821 for people affected by flooding in Nepal through the Emergency Action Alliance.

It’s one of several times the girls have stepped up this year to support others in the community.

This week Clementine and Victoria are at the home of the Matildas in Victoria, representing Tasmania in the U14 Girls team at the Talent ID Cup. We’re proud to recognise their generosity, hard work and contribution to the College community.
