EQUESTRIAN: NATIONAL INTERSCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

We would like to wish Lucy Johnston (Year 12), Meg Kilby (Year 12), Aggie Lyne (Year 10), Zoe Nichols (Year 9) and Marnie Lyne (Year 7) all the very best as they compete in the 2026 Australian Interschool Championships at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, Victoria, from 27 September to 1 October.

The Championships are Australia’s premier equestrian event for school-aged riders, attracting close to 500 competitors from across the nation. Representing Tasmania, Lucy Johnston will serve as State Team Captain, while Meg Kilby has been selected as Vice-Captain. The riders will compete across a range of disciplines, including dressage, eventing and showjumping, demonstrating the countless hours of training, determination and horsemanship that have earned them a place on the state team.

We congratulate these talented riders on their selection and wish them every success as they represent Tasmania on the national stage. We look forward to following their results and celebrating their achievements.
