LEADING THE WAY

Our Year 5 Leadership Induction was a special and significant occasion for our Elphin community, where we formally acknowledged and celebrated the leadership journey of our Year 5 students.

Our Year 5 students have already begun their leadership roles in positive and visible ways through their presence at Together@Elphin, their involvement in lunchtime clubs, and their contributions to Elphin Campus events. This ceremony provided a formal opportunity to recognise their commitment and to mark their induction into leadership within our community.

During the ceremony, Year 5s participated in a meaningful commissioning process, including the lighting of candles as a symbol of shared leadership, service and commitment to others. There were also reflections on leadership, student voice and a blessing for the year ahead.
