RUNNING TO SUPPORT RFDS

Every two minutes, an Australian requires support from the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). For 98 years, the RFDS has provided vital healthcare to people across Australia, particularly those living in rural and remote communities.
In addition to emergency retrievals, life-saving medical assistance and inter-hospital transfers, the RFDS provides essential services such as GP appointments, dental clinics and mental health consultations. The RFDS receives government funding, but they also rely on donations to bridge the gap and continue to provide Australians with these essential services.
This October, I will be running 87 kilometres throughout the month to raise funds and awareness for the RFDS. I chose this challenge because it is easy for many of us to take access to healthcare for granted. Here in Tasmania, hospitals and medical centres are never far away, but for many Australians living in remote areas, accessing healthcare can involve travelling hundreds of kilometres.
My aim is to raise $1000, however I would love to raise even more. Every donation counts, no matter the size. You can donate through this link or the RFDS oceans to outback website, and searching my name, Annabel Crisp.
Together we can help the RFDS continue bringing essential healthcare to Australians who may otherwise struggle to access it.
