First XI Cricket

Scotch Oakburn First XI played against St.Virgil’s College last weekend at Scotch Oakburn Park.

The toss was won by St. Virgil’s and they went into bat. St. Virgil’s were restricted to all out for only 48 runs. We witnessed some great bowling from Roy Penn with 8/13, off 8 overs. Roy was well supported by Charlie Skipper and Riley Donlon, who both took one wicket each.

Opening batters Oli Hadley and Ollie Macfarlane achieve the required runs in just 6 overs.

A great effort by all. The spirit of the team was high and the changerooms were buzzing.
